About Dunston Silver Band
A versatile brass band, rooted in Dunston.
We’re a 28-piece Second Section brass band based in Dunston, Gateshead. From concert halls to carnival routes, park bandstands, weddings and community events, we perform across the North East with a varied programme of traditional brass band music, film, pop and classical arrangements.
Established 1902
Being rooted in the North East, we’re proud of our heritage, and focused on the future. We play repertoire from across the years, traditional and not-so, and have members from so many walks of life.
